Refund and Remedy Policy

Straightforward help when a digital product or service does not meet the standard promised.

Effective: 22 July 2026

1. Australian Consumer Law Comes First

Our products and services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. This policy adds practical guidance and does not restrict any right or remedy available under law.

2. Digital Products

If a digital product has a major problem, is materially different from its description, or is not fit for a purpose you made known and reasonably relied on, you may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement. For a non-major problem, we may first provide corrected files, replacement access, or another remedy within a reasonable time.

Digital access is normally available immediately after successful payment. If you cannot access a purchase within 30 minutes, contact us and we will investigate delivery before treating the product as received.

3. Services

Services will be delivered with due care and skill, within a reasonable time where no date is agreed, and fit for an agreed purpose where the law requires. If a service has a major failure, you may be entitled to cancel and receive a refund for the unused portion or seek compensation as provided by law. For a non-major problem, we may first re-perform or correct the service within a reasonable time.

4. Change of Mind and Duplicate Orders

We do not generally offer change-of-mind refunds after a digital product has been accessed or downloaded. This does not affect Australian Consumer Law rights. If you bought the same product twice by mistake or contacted us before accessing it, tell us promptly and we will assess a reversal.

5. Consulting Cancellations

Project cancellation and rescheduling terms are stated in the signed proposal or statement of work. Any cancellation charge must reflect the agreed terms and work or costs reasonably incurred. It will not override a right to cancel or receive a remedy under applicable law.

6. How to Request a Remedy

Email shoutout@lil.business with the purchasing email address, order reference, product or service, and a clear description of the problem. Screenshots or error details can help, but we will not require unnecessary personal or sensitive information.

We aim to acknowledge requests within two business days and assess them within five business days. Complex service matters may take longer, in which case we will provide an update.

7. Approved Refunds

Polar is our online reseller and merchant of record for digital checkout. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method. Bank and card processing times are controlled by the payment networks and may take additional business days after approval. We do not charge an administration fee for a remedy required by law.
